Our Rooms
Our rooms are set in the greenery of our jungle park so you really stay in accommodation close to nature by Entebbe. Each room has a private veranda to enjoy the birdlife and nature around. Inside you find comfortable beds with mosquito nets that can be set as single, double, twin or triple.

Our Restaurant
At the shores of Lake Victoria you find Tilapa Lodge’s restaurant. Here you can enjoy views of the lake as you eat. If you are up for an early breakfast you have the chance to see an amazing sunrise over the lake!
A speciality is of course our namesake the Tilapia fish. We also like to serve food with a local touch so please come enjoy matoke (grown right here!) , taste the local g-nut sauce or why not try a “Rolex” for breakfast.

What to do around Tilapia Lodge
No matter if you have come to spend the weekend with us for an escape from the city or if you are starting or ending your safari from here there are activities that can fit you. For relaxation just staying around the lodge is the perfect option as you enjoy the views of Lake Victoria by the restaurant. But if you are looking for activity there are interesting alternatives. Our favorit is searching for the Shoebill Stork at Mabamba Swamp.

About Tilapia Lodge by Entebbe
Tilapia Lodge is part of the lodge chain Woodland Lodges that operates safari lodges in Uganda. We offer friendly service at comfortable safari style lodges in close to nature locations. With Tilapia Lodge we wished to create a close to nature experience by Entebbe in a safari style setting.
Tilapia Lodge is located in Lulongo just across the bay from Entebbe. Access us by boat or ferry from Nakiwogo or via Kasanje road from Mpigi if you are connecting straight from safari.
Woodland Lodges also includes Pumba Safari Cottages by Queen Elizabeth NP, Topi Lodge by Ishasha and Hornbill Bush Lodge by Murchison Falls NP.
